JupYeah is proud to have “EARTH.er ”, local brand in Tai O and Ambassador of Micro Carbon Operation initiated by Climate Group. Dedicated to promote fair trade and to help those in need with eco-friendly fashion, Benny Yuen the founder sees daily consumption as a means of shaping a sustainable development. Throughout the month, Earth.er will hold an exhibition to inspire JUPPERS to learn about the relationship between fashion and environment, hoping to turn them into a sensible fashion lover.

About Earth.er
A Tai O-based local fashion brand founded by Benny Yuen, Ambassador of Micro Carbon Operation initiated by the Climate Group.
The idea dawned on Yuen in 2005 while the designer was a graphic design student. Pondering the question about what a brand could do to make a change in a shopaholic, fashion-obsessed society, Yuen decided to launch a fair trade label that uses its profit to support environmental groups and living of vulnerable children. An Earth.er is one who chooses ethically created clothing and accessories to make a difference, using daily consumption as a means of promoting a sustainable development.

EARTH.er 的概念源於設計師於 2005 年修讀平面設計時, 思考品牌如何能直接改善全球性社會問題。而提出方向是，創立能讓人瘋狂追捧的時裝品牌，設立能成為金錢轉讓的消費模式，透過公平貿易原則, 捐助及支持環保團體，助養小朋友, 讓利潤收益轉移到地球上有需要援助的人身上。同時富有地區的消費者隨了買到所想要的產品外, 時裝品牌也提供了附加額外的正面價值及信息。 EARTH.er 的願景就是成為兩方的橋樑, 而消費者一方在無影響生活習性同時得到更多及更正面的訊息及形象，令得益的大於消費所產出的害處, 讓日常時尚消費品變成為可持續發展的力量。
Because being eco-friendly does not necessary mean giving up on style, fashion portal Butterboom propose to hold a Best Dressed Competition in a pop-up ‘photo studio’ where people can drop by to have their photos taken at certain designated time. Butterboom will feature the photos taken on both our website and on our facebook page where people can vote for their favourite person. Winners will be the person with the most votes. Announcement of the winners will be done on the Butterboom website and facebook page!
