Established in 2010 in Kwun Tong industrial district, The Cave is a new upcoming team of design and creative in Hong Kong. The team is formed by seven young local design professions, ranging from graphic design, interior design and fashion design. The team has been courageous since the start and is known for their handmade experimental reclaimed wood furniture, which many were later exhibited in numbers of exhibitions. 



Since establishment The Cave has participated in many different design and art installation projects in Hong Kong. The Cave was invited to participate in many industrial buildings guided tours, regeneration workshops, and a large scale local arts and culture exhibition, Light Up organized by The Amnesty International. They were also invited to join Detour 2011, and we involved again in Detour 2012, a creative exhibition organized by the Hong Kong Ambassadors of Design.

Other than wood furniture production, The Cave was also involved in the planning of album covers design, filming and props design, and many window display design. This year The Cave will be hosting more renewable workshop periodically with varies projects.

A simple and green lifestyle starts with home, and every detail at home influences one’s lifestyle, if not nature.

The young designers behind upcycled furniture studio The Cave will set up cutting-edge, functional installations for swap areas and host an exhibition on their ethics at SHOP 103A.
